showbiznu operates this website as the data controller under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act. We provide corporate programming services including custom software development and related consulting to business clients. Scope of this notice

This policy explains how we handle personal data of visitors to our site, individuals who contact us through the contact form, and representatives of corporate clients who engage our programming services. It does not cover data processing performed by our clients using software we develop for them.

Categories of personal data we collect

We obtain personal data directly from you when you use the contact form, subscribe to our blog updates, or correspond with us. Categories include identification details such as name and job title, contact information including email address and phone number, business details such as company name and project requirements, and technical data such as IP address and browser information collected through cookies. We process business information to deliver corporate programming services under contract. Technical data is processed to maintain site security and improve functionality under legitimate interests. Blog subscription data is processed with your consent. We do not process data for direct marketing without separate consent.

Whether providing data is required

Supplying contact details through the form is voluntary. If you do not provide them we may be unable to respond to your enquiry. For active client projects certain business contact data is necessary to fulfil the contract; failure to supply it could delay or prevent service delivery.

Processors, recipients and legal disclosures

Retention periods

Contact form data is retained for two years after the last interaction. Client project data is kept for seven years to meet accounting and contractual obligations. Blog subscription data remains until you unsubscribe. Technical logs are deleted after twelve months.

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls and regular staff training. We collect only the minimum data necessary for each stated purpose and do not make absolute guarantees against all possible breaches.

Your data subject rights

Right to withdraw consent and object to marketing

Where processing relies on consent you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us. You have the right to object to any future direct marketing or profiling for marketing purposes.

If you are unsatisfied with our response you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore through their official channels.

Children and age restrictions

Our services target corporate clients and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under eighteen years of age. If we become aware of such data we will delete it promptly.

Automated decision-making and profiling

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The current version will always be posted on this page with the last-updated date shown at the top.
